Watch tiny tot scale ‘child-proof, un-climbable’ pool ladder like Spider Man in viral video

A family in Massachusetts caught their toddler in a now-viral video climbing what is supposed to be a child-proof gated ladder for their pool.

Keith Wyman, the father of the two-year-old, says on Monday his family was in the backyard of their home when his son Cody started to climb over the gate to get to the pool.

“Within two seconds, he was up, if a two-year-old can do it, a six-year-old can do it,” Wyman said.

So I’m posting this video after I found my 2 year old Cody trying to climb our pool ladder when it was closed and locked I just got it with the new pool Tonya and I stress you to watch your kids around pools I will be buying a new type of ladder!! “Kid has some serious upper body strength “

The parents were there to stop the child before he reached the pool, but wanted to capture his trek on camera to show other families how easy it is for children to climb, according to Fox News.

“You can’t not watch them for one second because it only took him two seconds to climb that thing without stairs,” Wyman said.

The Wyman’s took the ladder and gate back to where they bought it and the store offered to replace it with another, but all the other gates were close in design.

Since posting the video, it has garnered over 16 million views on Facebook.
