Mothers whose children were killed by illegal aliens are speaking out against the media’s hypocritical coverage of border family separations.

Two “Angel Moms” spoke to The Daily Caller about the mainstream media’s skewed coverage and politicians’ focus on the current controversy surrounding the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy which separates children from their families when the adults choose to break the law by illegally entering the country.

The liberal hysteria over the temporary separation and the fate of migrant parents has unfairly gotten more attention than that of American parents who have permanently lost their children due to crimes committed by illegal immigrants, the mothers contend in scathing rebukes.

“There is hypocrisy in many ways. The total disregard for American families ripped apart because of illegal criminals, the total lack of concern for children in the U.S. being raped in North Carolina by illegals at disgusting numbers,” (some months over 400 child rapes by illegals), Mary Ann Mendoza told The Daily Caller.

“No concern [for] homeless American children or Veterans who would do anything to have what’s provided [to] these children,” she continued. “Yet, our politicians call it inhumane treatment. Would they rather these kids coming across our borders stay with the adults who aren’t their biological parents but have kidnapped them to get across the border as a ‘family unit?’”

Her son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, was killed when a drunk driving illegal alien hit him in a head on collision in 2014.

“He was killed by a 3 times the legal limit drunk and high on meth ILLEGAL CRIMINAL! He had driven 35 MILES the wrong way on four different freeways before slamming head-on into my son’s car,” she described on the Sgt. Brandon Mendoza Memorial Foundation website.

“It’s all about sensational headlines,” Mendoza told the Daily Caller. “They have no real concern for these kids. It’s just another way to make this administration look bad.”

“Worse things happened to these kids was Obama was president and [the media] was crickets. In closing, the fact that my son was collateral damage and totally disregarded to support their agenda is hypocrisy at its best. My dead son, a fellow American, is nothing to them! This isn’t worth their time because it would disprove their theory that we need illegal aliens here and we don’t need a border wall,” she said.

Dominic Durden was killed in a motorcycle accident when he was struck by an illegal alien who was reportedly “barely under the legal limit” while driving.

“The hypocrisy is astonishing. The MSM has ignored many of us victims of illegal alien crime for so long. They avoid us like pests,” his mother, Sabine Durden told the Daily Caller.

“If it weren’t for President Trump, no one would even know much about us. He gave my son a voice that was taken by an illegal. And I’m forever thankful to him for that and for bringing the issue of illegal alien invasion to the forefront,” the mother, who spoke along with Mendoza at the 2016 Republican National Convention, said.

“It’s deeply hurtful to see how MSM now ‘cares’ so much for children separated from their parents while continuing to ignore thousands of us separated by death, forever,” she added.

“Not one of the Dems has reached out since they heard about my son’s death. Not one spoke publicly about American victims of illegals. Their fake grandstanding for children is for show and absent of compassion because they didn’t do any of this during Obama’s presidency,” Durden said. “Yet they stumble over each other to get to a detention center with their camera crews behind them. They yell and show outrage over illegal aliens who placed themselves in this position. They call them immigrants, which is insulting to true immigrants like me.”

Her stand against illegal immigration has put Durden in the center of hostile backlash and insults.

“I get called racist, Nazi and my late son was referred to as ‘roadkill’ by an ‘anti-Trumper.’ All this is flamed by the leaders on the left. They are ignoring their own citizens who will never see or touch their child ever again to protect and speak for illegals who broke our laws,” she said.

“What a rude awakening to now have to spend the rest of my life without my only child — my best friend, my heartbeat — because illegal aliens are more important and better protected and get special treatment by the law,” Durden added.
