Melania Trump’s emotional statement about separating families that break law at border

First Lady Melania Trump inadvertently spotlighted the need for a border wall when she weighed in on the family-border separation controversy.

“Mrs. Trump hates to see children separated from their families and hopes both sides of the aisle can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform,” Melania said in a statement through her rep. “She believes we need to be a country that follows all laws, but also a country that governs with heart.”

Mainstream media have suddenly become obsessed with an Obama-era policy where children of illegal aliens are housed in taxpayer-funded shelters while their parents are detained for breaking the law by illegally crossing the U.S border. This is a federal law that was approved by both Democrats and Republicans years ago.

While liberals are fuming over the issue now, they turned a blind eye for eight years when the same family separation occurred numerous times during Barack Obama’s two terms as president. But one year into President Trump’s tenure, and the issue has suddenly become a top priority.

As BizPac Review previously reported, Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar admitted the Obama administration covered up the child migrant crisis, and the liberal media looked the other way.  “It was kept very quiet under the Obama Administration,” Cuellar told CNN.

Congressman Cuellar also said some of the adults who accompanied the minors during Obama’s tenure weren’t even the real parents, saying the government was hoodwinked in many cases.

“Under the law, you can separate a child if the adult is not the real parent…because sometimes we see situations where they’ll bring a child because they know of the policy that we have over here,” Cuellar explained.

Liberals are foaming at the mouth over the Obama-era policy in order to attack President Trump, but don’t realize that the family separation crisis is the single biggest argument for why a border wall is necessary.

Even the Trump-hating National Review admitted that illegal aliens are abusing the system by falsely claiming they need political asylum.

“The flow overwhelmingly consists of economic migrants who would prefer to live in the United States, rather than victims of persecution in their home country,” the National Review reported.

Basically, illegal aliens are jumping the line in front of legal immigrants who patiently wait their turn to enter the country LEGALLY.

Kirstjen Nielson, head of the Department of Homeland Security pointed out: “You are not breaking the law by seeking asylum at a port of entry.”

But illegally crossing the border of a sovereign nation is unlawful, and you will be prosecuted. Where’s the confusion? Break the law, and go to jail. It’s the same thing that happens to Americans every day.
