Eyebrow-gate is real: Justin Trudeau’s left eyebrow detached after meeting Trump

We’ve heard a rough day describes as having your socks knocked off, but who knew that it could also be disadvantageous to your eyebrows?

It’s no secret that politicians can be shallow and superficial, the level of narcissism commensurate with the office held, but who would have ever thunk that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wore fake eyebrows — poorly attached eyebrows at that.

Trudeau had a rough day Saturday when he made the unwise decision to target President Donald Trump during a news conference after the US president departed the G7 summit, prompting a counter from Trump via social media, where he called the Canadian leader “meek and mild,” charging him with being “weak” and making “false statements.”

But all that took a backseat to THAT detached eyebrow!

Not that it should come as a surprise, given that Trump covered it in his book, “Art of the Deal” … or did he?

Here’s an example of the fun people were having over the incident on Twitter.

Even former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran for president, couldn’t resist the fun, playing off Trump’s tough stance on tariffs as he works to create a level playing field for US companies.

“Breaking wind from CNN!” he tweeted. “@realDonaldTrump announces new tariffs on fake eyebrows!”

For what it’s worth, “eyebrow wigs” appear to be a real thing. Who knew?

Here’ s a sampling of other responses to Eyebrow-gate, which Trudeau may NEVER live down:
