Candace Owens says ‘dumb girl’ attitude pushes her toward run for Congress. Big endorsements follow.

Conservative political commentator Candace Owens may be considering taking advantage of her sudden thrust into the spotlight, and she’s already gotten some very vocal support.

The Turning Point USA communications director has been shaking up the status quo, calling on black Americans to wake up to the true colors of the Democratic Party and has made plenty of enemies along the way.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Owens admitted she only ever wanted to “inspire others,” not engage in political debate.

But she slammed the “recent onslaught of establishment types” against her, admitting that she may be rethinking her “position.”

In no time, Twitter responses were urging the 28-year-old to “Run!”

James Woods pledged his support in a tweet with the hashtag #CandaceForCongress, prompting another rush of support for Owens.

Owens recently shared a photo she had taken with President Trump in the Oval Office, noting that the “honor was truly mine.”

Though she has not yet responded directly to the many calls for her to run for office, it seems Owens may have plenty of votes already in.
