Hollywood darling Sally Field gets burned bigly for doubling down on Samantha Bee’s sexist hate

Self-proclaimed liberal feminist Sally Field just normalized a vulgar, misogynistic slur in her shameless pandering for Twitter retweets and social relevance.

That’s what many on Twitter said after reading Field’s blithe reaction to comedian Samantha Bee’s vicious attack on first daughter Ivanka Trump.

Conservative author Tammy Bruce summed up the sentiments of millions of Americans when she tweeted, “A Hollywood liberal feminist arguing for normalizing the debasement of women. All in the name of being able to condemn a woman they perceive as conservative. And we wonder how Weinstein survived for so long in that world.”

The brouhaha erupted when TBS star Samantha Bee called Ivanka a “feckless c–t” after Trump posted a photo of herself hugging her 2-year-old son Theodore.

Bee fumed, “Let me just say, one mother to another: Do something about your dad’s immigration practices you feckless c–t! He listens to you. Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to f–king stop it.”

Bee later apologized following heavy backlash, but only after two sponsors pulled their ads.

Ironically, the same liberals who repeatedly trash President Trump as vulgar and sexist responded by being even more vulgar and sexist in their attacks on the president’s female family members, aides, and supporters. How’s that for liberal logic?

While people expect that from the hypocritical liberal media and leftist pundits, many were surprised when the “Flying Nun” star Sally Field joined in the anti-Trump fray.

Field has long been considered “America’s sweetheart” for her wholesome image. But not anymore. The 71-year-old actress has decided that now is the time to damn the torpedoes and join the leftist “Resistance.”

Radio host Mark Davis said Sally crossed the line and lost a lifelong fan. “Done for life with an actress I have loved for 50 years,” he tweeted.”

One former fan tweeted: “I always thought she would be so sweet and kind in real life, but she’s just another bully leftist who is cruel for sport.”

Christopher Reese remarked, “Amazingly sad to see that word thrown around so casually by libs. I was always taught that was a word you just didn’t say.”

Other Twitter fans said Sally’s verbal debasement of women had them doubting the entire #MeToo movement.

One man quipped: “That’s why the whole #MeToo is a scam! Many of those women WILLINGLY slept with him in exchange for fame and fortune, that’s called prostitution!”

Radio host Joe Pagliarulo remarked: “Folks from my generation used to love Sally Field. We had no idea how nuts she was. This is as disgusting as Bee’s comments. HollyWeird at it’s best.”

Conservative commentator Dana Loesch simply noted, “Like I said, Bee just far too authentically represents the actual worldview of a significant chunk of progressives.”

President Trump weighed in on Bee’s attack on his daughter.

“Why aren’t they firing no-talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low-ratings show?” he wondered. “A total double standard but that’s O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!”
