Major fallout when Roseanne goes on wild rant against Chelsea Clinton, Valerie Jarrett. Here’s why she’s apologizing…

Roseanne Barr has had an incredibly busy day on social media, tweeting and deleting comments that sparked outrage, prompted an apology and led to the departure of one of her producers.

No stranger to backlash over her sometimes controversial comments, Barr’s Twitter feed on Tuesday left her critics spinning as she came under fire for tweets about Valerie Jarrett and Chelsea Clinton, among others.

The star of the ABC hit sitcom that bears her name tweeted – and then deleted –  a “joke” that former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett was the love child of the Muslim Brotherhood and “Planet of the Apes.”

She commented on a tweet by CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski that it was a “joke.”

The blue-check outrage was immediate.

Consulting producer of “Roseanne,” Wanda Sykes, announced she would not be returning to the ABC show’s second season following Barr’s comments.

Barr issued an apology later in the morning, but not before making a few points.

Barr offered another apology of sorts after her tweet about Chelsea Clinton got a personal response.

She added another tweet with a link from Snopes, but mistakenly called Clinton’s father-in-law a former senator instead of a congressman.

She also added a note about Soros being a Nazi.

And as liberals hurled criticism over Barr’s tweetstorm, Townhall Senior Columnist, Kurt Schlichter offered a different take.
