New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo used his three daughters to demand President Donald Trump “DO SOMETHING” on guns, following the deadly school shooting that left at least eight people dead on Friday.
“Columbine. Virginia Tech. Sandy Hook. Las Vegas. Orlando. Parkland. And now, Santa Fe,” the governor wrote in an open letter addressed to Trump and Cognress. “When is enough enough? How many more innocent people have to die before you act? You were elected to lead — DO SOMETHING.”
The governor signed his letter, “Andrew M. Cuomo. Father of Cara, Mariah and Michaela. Taxpayer. Governor of New York. NRA ‘F’ Rated Elected Official.”
Although he addressed the open letter to Trump and Congress, Cuomo indicated on social media he was exempting Democrats in Congress from his scathing missive.
The governor’s letter included zero specifics whatsoever on what gun control policies he wants Congress to pass and the president to sign into law.
