A battle of billboards has literally broken out in West Palm Beach, Florida, along the motorcade route President Donald Trump takes when at the Winter White House at Mar-a-Lago.
In one corner, you have MadDog PAC, a small, grassroots political action committee based in Maryland, and in the other you have the Committee to Defend the President, which is the former Stop Hillary PAC rebranded.
Claude Taylor is the co-founder of MadDog PAC and he told the Palm Beach Post that after previously placing a billboard that reads “Impeach Now” along the route, they’ll now have it in place through November.
The billboard included the slogan, “Make America America Again.

“We consider it our flagship billboard,” Taylor said. “It’s going to be there, month in, month out.”
They sold sections of the first billboard to help fund putting the message on display again.
Mar-a-Lago. Nothing represents Trump like MAL. Nothing has its significance. Our Flagship Billboard. We have dozens of billboards but this one should stay up as long as Trump is president https://t.co/dwfan0rxOn pic.twitter.com/zv4MEzweQr

While the Democratic Party sees impeachment talk as a loser for them in November, Taylor is looking forward to the hope that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi may reclaim speaker’s gavel.
“The ‘Impeachment Now’ is a process,” he explained. “It’s all connected to turning the House blue, having enough votes to bring about an impeachment vote.”
Meanwhile, Ted Harvey, the chairman of the Committee to Defend the President, said in March when the opposition’s billboard first went up they don’t intend to surrender the battlefield.
Their billboard reads: “Thank You President Trump,” along with the slogan “Keep America Great!”
“When we saw the billboards go up we said, ‘we’re not going to let them have the field to themselves,’ ” Harvey said, according to The Post. “We will never leave the field of battle and we will be aggressive in our tactics.”

The pro-Trump billboard initially went up at a nearby location, but the group was able to eventually acquire the space on the opposite side of the anti-Trump billboard, which puts the competing messages back to back. The billboards are located at the intersection of I-95 and Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach, the PB Post reported.

The “Thank You President Trump” billboard went up against the “Impeachment Now” billboard on April 2.
Taylor, a former member of President Bill Clinton’s White House staff, told The Post they have raised $338,354 this year, while the newspaper reported the Committee to Defend the President raised $5.7 million in 2018.
