‘Yup, I just said that’: Georgia candidate ad brags about big truck to help round up criminal illegals. Here’s how that went over.

Unlike the feckless RINOs who plague our government, politically incorrect Georgia gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp has no qualms about telling the world how he really feels about criminal aliens.

“I’ve got a big truck in case I need to round up criminal illegals and take them home myself,” Kemp, who currently serves as Georgia’s secretary of state, says in a new campaign ad released Wednesday.

“Yup, I just said that,” he adds with a smile.

Note that he referred to criminal illegals, i.e., illegal immigrants convicted of crimes such as theft, rape and murder. Many illegals convicted of serious or violent offenses still remain in the United States because their local jurisdictions refuse to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

And because Kemp isn’t among these spineless, bleeding-heart saps, the left has already begun labeling him an ignorant racist:

And this is exactly why the left keeps losing election after election. God forbid they learn to take a joke. Kemp doesn’t actually plan to round up criminal aliens, as that’s the job of ICE. He does however stand firm in his belief that criminal aliens should be apprehended and deported.

“I tell you, people just take a lot of this just too seriously. We’re trying to draw attention to a really detailed policy message we have with tracking and deporting criminal illegals, which I’m sure everyone supports,” he said during an appearance Saturday morning on “Fox & Friends.”

Everybody but the far left, which genuinely believes that enforcing federal immigration laws — particularly on gangsters, rapists, child molesters and other reprobates — is tantamount to carrying out a second Holocaust.

“People are really resonating to it. It’s driving the left crazy. The good, hardworking people of Georgia just love [the ads],” Kemp added, referencing his ad.

The key words there were “key, hardworking people.” Radical leftists tend to be neither.

Despite the backlash, Kemp has no intentions of backing down. After his appearance on Fox News, he issued a tweet to President Donald Trump doubling down on his rhetoric:

He’s even included a whole section on his campaign website about tracking down and deporting criminal aliens.

“As governor, conservative businessman Brian Kemp will create a comprehensive database to track criminal aliens in Georgia. He will also update Georgia law to streamline deportations from our jails and prisons,” the website reads.

From the sounds of it, the citizens of Georgia would be fools to not vote for him come November.
