Ted Cruz eviscerates Obama’s disastrous Iran Deal, lays out ‘stunning revelations’ in damning Twitter thread

While the left works hard to distract from Israel’s bombshell revelations about the Iran nuclear deal, Sen. Ted Cruz unloaded a series of tweets to shine more light on the story.

The Texas Republican broke down the “stunning” disclosure revealed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, as he detailed the damning evidence against Iran and the disastrous deal struck with former President Obama’s administration.

Cruz laid out in tweet after tweet why the information shared in Netanyahu’s presentation Monday confirms that the 2015  signature Obama foreign policy achievement was “not just unfixable, but truly catastrophic.”

The senator linked to the video presentation in another tweet.

The documents obtained by Israel “show beyond any doubt that the Iranian regime was not telling the truth,”  Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday, referring to the nation negotiating a deal with six world powers while never intending to halt its development of nuclear weapons.

Cruz blasted the deal which was negotiated and sealed “on that edifice of lies” under Obama’s watch.

The former Republican presidential candidate then laid out the consequences of the deal.

All this while everyone already knew the details, including Obama who handed billions of dollars to a nation that hates America and sponsors global terrorism.

Cruz argued that in light of the information shared by Israel, and considering Trump has called it a “terrible deal” from the start, “the course before President Trump is clear.”

With a looming May 12 deadline, Trump must decide if he will exit the deal and resume the sanctions on Iran that were in place before the 2015 nuclear deal or continue to suspend the penalties. European allies, including Britain, France and Germany who signed the agreement along with Obama have been urging Trump to keep the deal in place.

Netanyahu trusts the president’s judgement and his ability to “do the right thing.”

“The deal was flawed from the start,” he said on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday. “It’s either fully fixed or fully nixed. Fully fixed, you need a major overhaul; it really means a new deal.”
