Parkland teacher accused of comparing Kyle Kashuv to Hitler in unhinged classroom rant

Kyle Kashuv, the Second Amendment supporting student who found himself being interrogated on campus after visiting a gun range, is now being attacked by one of the school’s teachers  who allegedly told a classroom that Kushuv was  “the next Hitler.”

Kashuv tweeted about the actions of Stoneman Douglas American History teacher Greg Pittman, who responded to a photo the student tweeted from the gun range, in effect, attacking Kashuv in a series of tweets for what the teacher called a “very bad idea,” even questioning the minor’s intelligence and the manner in which Kashuv held the AR-15 he fired.

And it appears that Pittman, whose Twitter feed betrays a raging Democrat, did not limit his attacks to social media, continuing them into the classroom.

“So… I just got a call from a friend of mine from @GregPittman1957‘s class and he apparently compared me to Hitler in class and said I am a piece of crap. The rant was about 10-minutes during class time and how he was right and I was wrong with my comments…,” Kashuv tweeted.

The Daily Wire reported that a second student confirmed what Kashuv said he was told.

“I was in class on April 25th with Gregory Pittman and near the end of class the discussion led to Kyle Kashuv’s tweet about going to the gun range,” an unidentified student told The Daily Wire.

“Pittman expressed that he could not speak badly about Kyle because he was specifically told by administration not to,” the student said. “Pittman began talking about what an ass Kyle was and called him ‘the next Hitler’ and said that he was ‘dangerous’ and something needed to be done about him.”

And with all the hysteria on the left about gun control, Kashuv felt compelled to add:

“Just a reminder, @GregPittman1957 made sure to inform me that he has 2 guns and now he’s saying “something needs to be done with me.”

“I assume @browardsheriff will be ALL over this!” he added, in reference to the same Broward County Sheriff’s Office that “interrogated” him for exercising his God-given right to self defense.

But Kashuv may have pushed too far as a 16-year-old in concluding — accurately it would appear — that Pittman is “a vile moron.”

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter that shows that the student need not go there, with social media users only too happy to fill the void:
