Stormy Daniels’ lawyer was just called out on national television for being a liar, and he’s not too happy about it.
Michael Avenatti explained his absence from the Fox News Channel by telling CNN over the weekend that Fox doesn’t “seem to want me on their shows much.” According to Fox host Martha MacCallum, that’s not true.
MacCallum who hosts Fox News Channel’s “The Story” made a point to deliver her audience a “program note” to address Avenatti’s claim.
“That is not actually the case,” MacCallum said. “In fact, Mr. Avenatti was scheduled to appear on this show tomorrow night. But this morning, he abruptly canceled the interview despite his pledge to appear on Fox News this week.
“So, there you go. That is our true story, on that.” she ended.
Avenatti and his client have been hitting the media circuit 24/7, appearing on numerous shows to perpetuate the alleged affair Stormy had with Trump more than a dozen years ago, but have been curiously absent from the largest cable news network.
Daniels added fuel to the self-perpetuated rumors when she claimed Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, had someone threaten her to keep her mouth shut about the affair. Daniels and Avenatti became a laughing-stock when a sketch of the alleged person who threatened Daniels was released and was wildly mocked on social media.
Perhaps Avenatti was still sore over that fiasco, because he went through the roof when he heard that MacMacullum had called him out on her program. He called MacCallum “classless” and accused her of trying to “deceive” people as part of an “agenda” in an angry tweet Monday night.
You are classless @marthamaccallum. I agree to go on your show tmrw and then had to cancel due to a commitment with the case that I explained to your producer first thing this AM. You respond by calling me out on your show and deceiving people?! #unprofessional #agenda #basta

MacCallum didn’t respond, but her colleague S.E. Cupp had her back:
Nah uh. You won’t find a person who agrees with you. @marthamaccallum is ALL class and a pro. You can be aggrieved about the booking without using baseless ad hominem attacks. Which, incidentally, do nothing for your client. Remember her, your client? https://t.co/mmKmF4HIKk
