Green Beret posts horrifying warning about ultimate outcome of gun control: ‘This is why we need guns’

As an active duty special forces soldier who’s fought in the world’s most decrepit hellholes, proud Green Beret and mixed martial arts fighter Tim Kennedy has a deep appreciation for the rights afforded to him as an American, including the right to bear arms.

Granted to every American citizen by the U.S. Constitution, this right now faces constant attacks by those who seek to subvert our freedom. In an Instagram post published Saturday, Kennedy explained why we must NEVER allow this to happen.

“This is why we need guns,” he explained in a post that depicted people from across the world being brutalized and oppressed by their own governments.

“Ask Hitler, Castro, Mao Tse-Tung, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, or the countless others… if gun control worked for them,” he added.

Gun control certainly worked for the likes of deceased Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, in that it allowed him to acquire the power needed to carry out the Holocaust and wage war against the rest of the civilized world.

“Our forefathers did not have a glimpse into the future to know that the Second Amendment would have to protect the weapons we have today. But they did know that governments will always be overreaching. They wrote that beautiful constitution with the intent of limiting that power. We don’t need guns for hunting we need them for freedom,” Kennedy continued.

A freedom that can only be maintained so long as every American citizen is empowered with the right to arm himself or herself against tyranny.

“Until you have been in a tyrannical, socialists, or anarchist country where violence and genocide can become the norm you can’t understand why we need guns,” the Green Beret concluded.

Many of 350,000+ followers appeared to agree with his message, including Tony Matthiesen.

“Banning ar15s will result in one thing. Law abiding citizens turning in ar15s. And criminals will be the only ones with them. Which is a place I do not want to be in,” Matthiesen wrote.

Yet some cities across the states have already instituted bans on so-called “assault weapons” like AR-15s. What’s next? Bans on handguns? Bans on ammunition? All under the pretense that banning guns would somehow make America safer.

That certainly never happened in Nazi Germany, where Hitler’s gun control efforts began gradually but eventually transformed into full-scale confiscation. And we all know what happened next …

Hint: It starts with T and rhymes with irony!

Is this the path the American people want for their country? I certainly hope not.
