Former Obama lackey Tommy Vietor was driven to apologize, sort of, after mocking U.S. Sen. Rand Paul for getting beat up by a deranged neighbor last year.
“You are a shameless hack and an idiot. Stop attacking public servants. Start doing a better job not getting beat up by your neighbor,” Vietor tweeted, in a unhinged attack on the Kentucky Republican.
And just what was it that irked Obama’s former national security spokesman?
Ryan dared call attention to the fact the FBI’s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page still have top security clearance. Strzok and Page, who were having an illicit love affair, were booted from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation because of their bias against President Trump.

Social media users lit into Vietor for the crass comment about Paul being attacked, which was no laughing matter, considering the lawmaker suffered SIX broken ribs.
Vietor eventually deleted his tweet, offering a half-*ss apology, accusing Sen. Paul of “doing Trump’s bidding.”.
“I shouldn’t have made fun of you getting assaulted by your neighbor. It was classless and I apologize. But I do think it’s hackish and pathetic that you continue to attack these officials for purely partisan reasons. Stop doing Trump’s bidding,” he tweeted.

The irony of the Obama lackey hitting Paul for being “partisan” about two top FBI officials who expressed rank partisanship over Trump being stupefying.
As for the apology that wasn’t, social media users clued Vietor in on the art of making an apology.

An apology does not contain the word "but." https://t.co/HARhTa0Vt9 pic.twitter.com/gNF3jkOZlx

When a normal person apologizes they do not continue to attack the person they are apologizing to. https://t.co/cyRPgfFAO9

Their pure partisanship is why he attacked them. It's why they attack you Tommy. Stop selling yourself to the highest bidder. https://t.co/s34R8hl1CJ
