Laura Ingraham rips Cohen for talking to hostile networks like CNN: Is he sending a message to Trump?

Fox News host Laura Ingraham slammed President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, for speaking to CNN after the FBI raided his homes and businesses, suggesting he’s being disloyal.

“Why is he going to media outlets that are fairly hostile to the president at this point?” Ingraham asked. “What do you think?”

Ingraham was referring to Cohen’s phone chat with Trump-hating CNN pundit Don Lemon hours earlier, when he said the following: “I am unhappy to have my personal residence and office raided. But I will tell you that members of the FBI that conducted the search and seizure were all extremely professional, courteous and respectful. And I thanked them at the conclusion.”

Ingraham was baffled that Cohen spoke to Lemon, an avowed Trump hater who works for a network that attacks Trump around-the-clock. Byron York, a columnist for the Washington Examiner, suggested that Michael Cohen could be using the media to send a message to President Trump.

“To some degree, there are a lot of people in the White House who actually communicate to the president through the media,” York said. “They’re trying to send him a message.”

Interestingly, Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing former porn star Stormy Daniels, agreed with Ingraham, saying it’s “beyond stupid” for him to talk to CNN following the FBI raid. Naturally, Avenatti thinks it’s okay for him to yap to CNN.

“It may be good for CNN for Michael Cohen to be speaking to Don Lemon, but it’s moronic under the circumstances,” Avenatti told CNN pundit Anderson Cooper. “Any experienced attorney would tell a client not to speak to the press the day after the FBI executes three search warrants on your homes and your offices. This is just crazy, it’s ludicrous.”

This letter is a bone of contention between Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen.

While no Trump aide should take the advice of a rumored ambulance-chaser like Michael Avenatti, he does raise a good point. Avenatti’s credibility has come under fire after he recently revealed that he’s willing to settle his client’s lawsuit against President Trump for the right price. What a shocker.

Predictably, Stormy Daniels has been trying to parlay her alleged 2006 one-night stand with Trump into a meal ticket. She recently went on a mini-tour of strip clubs by hyping her alleged 2006 liaison with Trump, and has been trying to nullify a nondisclosure agreement that Michael Cohen had executed with her.

Basically, Daniels wants to be able to talk about her alleged one-night stand to tabloids and other media for sweaty wads of cash. But here’s the kicker: Most Trump supporters don’t care if the billionaire slept with Daniels once 12 years ago. Female Trump supporters say they didn’t vote for him because he was a devoted husband, but because they felt he had America’s best interests at heart.

As for male Trump supporters? Many are simply impressed that Trump has consistently bedded a string of gorgeous women. “I’m proud of our pimp-ass president!” gushed strip club patron.
