Hillary Clinton’s claims about the 2016 presidential election have now entered a new level of delusion.

The failed Democratic presidential candidate is convinced that the folks at Fox News are having trouble with reality.

“Fox News is always trying to impeach me, so somebody needs to tell them that doesn’t apply to a private citizen,” Clinton said, attempting to be funny during a panel discussion in New York, Fox News reported.

“When you’ve been accused of everything like I have, and you realize some people believe it, it’s really depressing,” she added, speaking to The Wing — a women-only co-working space in New York City – on Tuesday.

The former secretary of State also thought America is in “a very bad spot.”

“I think we are in a really bad spot because I don’t understand exactly how what is happening is going to better prepare us for the future. It just seems like we’re off on tangents, it’s very unpredictable, unstable,” she said.

“I don’t think we’ve seen the bottom yet, I think it’s very unfortunate to contemplate but more can happen that would put our rights at risk, our freedom at risk, our values, our fundamental views about what it means to be Americans,” she added.

Clinton applauded the “staying power of the resistance,” the movement of those opposed to President Trump.

“I’ve really been admiring the staying power of the resistance because it’s hard when you are fighting on so many fronts,” she told the audience of women.

The former first lady’s latest gripe against Fox News and Trump come amid the Justice Department’s investigation into the conduct of the FBI during the 2016 election. Clinton has been on a lengthy book tour promoting her memoir aimed at looking at her election campaign and eventual defeat.

Her latest round of finger pointing was met with a litany of backlash on Twitter.
