Leaked audio reveals Fla. teacher coaching students before big anti-gun rally, shares ‘top-secret’ info

Leaked audio reveals disturbing details from a Florida meeting preparing students for the upcoming March For Our Lives event in Washington.

Under the guise of briefing students, parents, and staff from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who are planning to attend this weekend’s #MarchForOurLives protest in Washington, D.C., a Broward County public school teacher could be heard coaching students on media talking points and admitting in a  “super off-the-record” comment that the proper permits had not been secured for the event.

The meeting, held at the Marriott Hotel – which reportedly donated the space – in Coral Springs, FL. on Tuesday, was captured on hidden audio which was provided to Dangerous, the Milo Yiannopolous website.

The organizer of the meeting, Debby Miller, a Beachside Montessori Village teacher, introduced herself as a representative for the Giffords Foundation.The non-profit group founded by former Arizona Democratic congresswoman Gabby Giffords, is reportedly funding the cost of sending over 200 students, staff, and parents from Parkland, Florida to the march, reporter Laura Loomer shared.

Miller also announced that Southwest Airlines had donated all the seats needed to fly participants in to the nation’s capitol, a claim which the airline denied.

Believing she was speaking to supporters in the absence of cameras, Miller shared “top-secret” pieces of information including the fact that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi planned to participate in the event which is simply an anti-Trump and anti-Second Amendment protest.

“We’re also going to have things that are not on the agenda that are kind of top-secret. So all of the press here just pretend like you’re not hearing this. We will be introduced on Capitol Hill by Nancy Pelosi, so that’s kind of cool. And it’s quite possible we are going to have a private meeting with Joe Biden. Don’t say anything to anyone,” Miller said in the audio.

According to Dangerous:

Miller was caught saying to the students, “I want you to feel like it’s going to camp.” That “camp,” completely sponsored by some of the nation’s leading left-wing organizers and lawmakers, comes equipped with activist swag items such as Giffords t-shirts and backpacks. Students are required to wear the Giffords swag while traveling to D.C., Miller told them.

The other “super off-the-record” comment Miller told the students in attendance is that the Giffords Foundation failed to secure the proper permits that are required in order to hold a large march on Capitol Hill. For this reason, the “march” is illegal, unless they call it a “rally.”

 

She essentially encouraged students to risk arrest by marching to the White House.

“So it’s conceivable that we could leave at the end of the rally and walk to the White House where we rally some more, and hold up our signs and say our piece, and create a little hell,” she is heard saying.

“The Tuesday meeting exposes extreme anti-conservative bias as the Giffords Foundation, in coordination with the Broward County Public School System and its teachers, as they attempt to weaponize children for a large scale protest in the nation’s capitol,” Loomer wrote in the piece for Dangerous. “The adult leftwing activists are also ensuring the student-pawns are as media-savvy as possible.”

The leaked audio clip also seems to support the claim by conservatives that scripted liberal talking points on gun control are being fed to students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where last month’s mass shooting left 17 people dead. Many have questioned how these anti-gun protests and a student-led gun control movement could materialize so quickly and with no outside help.

“The media and reporters and legislators are going to listen to sound bites. That’s how they are going to hear you. They are going to hear you in bites. In little pieces. So you need to have your talking points ready,” Miller could be heard telling students at Tuesday’s meeting.

“Miller also admitted on tape to abusing tax-payer resources designated for the operation of Broward County Public Schools. With a wink and a nod, Miller laughingly told attendees how she used school resources to print off nearly 200 copies of Giffords Foundation itineraries to organize the political event,” Loomer wrote for Dangerous. Miller later denied that she ever used the school printer.

And while the teacher told Dangerous she was not being paid by Giffords’s foundation, a copy of the official #MarchForOurLives itinerary obtained by Loomer reveals a three-day whirlwind of events planned for “the soon-to-be voting-age students,” including museum tours, dinners, an introduction from Pelosi at a press conference at the U.S. Capitol as well as concerts, pizza parties and more.

The irony will be lost on the participants, of course,  but the group will apparently be accompanied on the various events during the trip by “plain clothed” private security officers who will be fully armed.
