Who says you can’t be the leader-of-the-free-world’s wife and a fashion icon too?
Love her or not, it’s becoming clear that Melania Trump will go down in history as one of America’s most beautiful and fashion-forward icons.

Travelling abroad, Mrs. Trump has been known to honor the hosting country through her impeccable fashion sense. The first lady, also extends the compliment to dignitaries from visiting countries as she did over the weekend while hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah at the Oval Office in Washington D.C. on Monday.
Melania, in powder blue, was seemingly color coordinated with Sara Netanyahu, who wore a light teal ensemble for the couple’s official visit to the U.S.
Both women were stunning, but Melania literally stood out with skyscraping metallic stilettos of the same color.
Let’s zoom in on those shall we…
Lest we forget, the media uproar over after Mrs. Trump was spotted in stilettos travelling to Texas to witness the damage done by Hurricane Harvey.
An embarrassing “problem” with the social media freak-out over her high heels, was the fact that those were the shoes Melania was wearing to board the plane. When the first lady departed in Texas, she got the last laugh over her critics by wearing sneakers.
And, while the rest of us wonder how she pulls it off without a band-aid, hobble or grimace, Melania looked perfectly poised and comfortable before, during, and after the meeting with Israel’s first couple.
Did you notice… even President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were wearing blue ties — the same color as Israel’s flag.
Inside the Oval Office, Melania was able to give her feet a break, and listened attentively to the discussion.
The Trump and Netanyahu families have a friendly relationship, which can seen in the photos.
Their friendship can also be seen in a tweet shared by P.M. Netanyahu.
"We hope you enjoy your stay at the Blair House. We look forward to seeing you soon.

And while Melania fans were proud of the first lady for representing the U.S. with style and grace, her signature eye-popping shoe choices are quickly becoming fan favorites.
“Melania’s shoes” even has its own Twitter account:
