To the shock of few, a transgender wrestler has won the Texas girls’ Class 6A 110-pound division title for the second consecutive year.
The U.S. military already understands that, on average, men are physically stronger and have more endurance than women, more a fact of nature than discrimination, but 18-year-old senior Mack Beggs is proving that women jacked on steroids are also stronger than women who aren’t.
Beggs, a student at Euless Trinity High School near Dallas, is a female transitioning to a male and is taking what is reported to be a low-dose of testosterone, according to the New York Post.
In the video below, Beggs, who entered the state tournament with a 32-0 record, is seen rolling out of a pinfall to avoid defeat in a title match with Chelsea Sanchez, who Beggs beat last year.
Boos rain down from the crowd as a muscular, tatted Beggs takes the title.
Beggs wanted to wrestle in the boys’ division, but Texas public high schools require athletes to compete under the gender on their birth certificate, The Post reported.
Parents are reportedly concerned about the safety risk of their children competing with an athlete on steroids, with more than one opponent forfeiting against Beggs.
An added concern is detailed in the views of former psychiatrist in chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Paul R. McHugh, who considers changing sexes “biologically impossible,” and thinks being “transgender” is actually a “mental disorder.”

There was plenty of outrage on social media over the unfair advantage Beggs has over the competition, and over the effect transgenders are having on women’s sports.
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
They are booing because of a athlete using steroids in competition. Doesn’t matter male or female. The athlete was taking drugs that enhances performance. Plain and simple. Shouldn’t have been able to compete

Feminists were so eager to erode the very essence of femininity and now look at what they've done. Sick world https://t.co/9qGgGky71l

Yeah you wanna switch genders then whatever but the kid shouldn't be allowed to take testosterone during the season. Pretty sure that's on just about every banned substance list for any sport in any state https://t.co/ig7SAHlak7

Talk about performance-enhancing drugs. She gets to take testosterone. How about if you're a boy you be a boy and girl you be a girl seem simple to me https://t.co/znl7uVHlkc

What an embarrassment to sports. Nobody should be participating in sports – particularly contact sports – while taking PEDs. And synthetic testosterone is a steroid. https://t.co/WOIaqRjpqa
