Nancy Pelosi’s apocalyptic prophecies notwithstanding, the Republican-led tax reform bill is now enjoying support from a majority of Americans.
A SurveyMonkey poll conducted by the liberal leaning New York Times between February 4 and February 11 shows support for the bill at a solid 51 percent, up from 46 percent last month and only 37 percent when the bill was first passed.
And yes, given the source, don’t be surprised if the numbers are actually higher.
“Public opinion is moving in the direction of this bill,” SurveyMonkey chief research officer Jon Cohen told the Times. “Considering where it was, it is dramatically different.”
Much of the approval / disapproval remains along party lines, however, with 89 percent of Republicans and only 19 percent of Democrats approving of the bill. But considering the massive Democrat-conducted propaganda campaign against the bill’s passage, the numbers are still more than significant.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was quick to share the news Monday evening, and she couldn’t help but include a brutal Pelosi slam.
This school’s not likely to be next target … good guys are all packing heat and it works
Other than Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic allies, who could be against lower taxes, higher wages, and a booming economy?

Nancy Pelosi can keep complaining about her 'crumbs', while the rest of America celebrates the benefits of the tax reform. https://t.co/NlCXuzxli1

The White House press secretary is becoming quite the Twitter provocateur. Earlier this month, Sanders also hit Pelosi for the multi-millionaire House minority leader’s depiction of the bonuses employees were getting as “crumbs.”
