Dems flock to Farrakhan … Waters at Nation of Islam convention where he blames US for suicide bombers

In today’s media, there is one standard for Democrats and another standard for all others… which works out well for Rep. Maxine Waters.

The California Democrat reportedly attended a 2002 Nation of Islam Convention in her home state as the group’s racist leader, Louis Farrakhan, defended Palestinian suicide bombers.

This being the same Farrakhan who believes white people are inherently inferior to black people, as noted by The Daily Caller. An anti-Semite who called Jews “Satanic” and said Adolf Hitler was “a very great man.”

Of course, we saw that double standard at play when it was recently discovered that the Congressional Black Caucus intentionally buried a 2005 photo showing then-Senator Barack Obama with the National of Islam leader to prevent backlash during Obama’s presidential runs.

“We have Maxine Waters here, our great congresswoman from this area,” Farrakhan informed the convention audience, which responded with a cheer.

It was at this convention that Farrakhan blamed United States support for Israel for the actions of suicide bombers.

“The Palestinians have nothing to defend themselves with,” he claimed, according to the DC. “So they’re so exhausted and exasperated, think about that, strapping bombs to themselves, making themselves a weapon.”

Farrakhan also spoke in support of Iran arming Palestinian terrorist groups.

“And then for the world to get upset because Iran or somebody is trying to send them some weapons,” he said.

“Wait a minute,” Farrakhan added. “If you were Jewish and you saw unarmed Jews being persecuted, wouldn’t you come to your brothers’ aid? Do you expect Muslims to see their brothers suffering like that and not come to their aid?”

Waters, who dares to lecture President Trump on proper behavior, is also seen in a 2006 video warmly embracing Farrakhan at a church in New Orleans.

But the ties between Democrats and the Nation of Islam run deep, as seen with Rep. Keith Ellison, the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee.

The Minnesota Democrat worked for 18 months helping organize Farrakhan’s 1995 Million Man March, the DC reported, though he assured voters he had cut ties with Farrakhan when the lawmaker first ran for Congress in 2006.

But then, Ellison recently shared a photo of himself promoting the violent “Antifa” movement to a collective yawn from the liberal media.

The Democrat also claimed brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, who starves his nation, acted more responsibly than Trump.
