According to Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro, special counsel Robert Mueller is the one who should be under investigation.
Appearing on “Hannity,” the former prosecutor made the damning assertion while discussing the anti-Trump bias on Mueller’s team.
“I look at Mueller’s team,” host Sean Hannity said. “Obama donors, Clinton donors, DNC donors. Nobody likes Trump.”
Hannity named Andrew Weissmann, the #2 official in the Russia-Trump probe whom the New York Times called Mueller’s “pitbull,” before questioning why Mueller would appoint these individuals.
“Because Robert Mueller is not looking for an objective team,” Pirro replied. “Robert Mueller is looking for people with an agenda against [President] Donald Trump.”
“Robert Mueller is the person who should be being investigated, given the fact that he was the head of the FBI when this attempt to find our uranium started in 2009,” she added.
The comment was a reference to the Obama administration approving the partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One, effectively giving Moscow control of more than 20 percent of America’s uranium supply.
“He knew all about it, and yet he’s investigating Donald Trump?” Pirro asked. “He should be the one who’s being investigated!”
“We should stop talking about Russian collusion because it’s a bunch of hogwash,” she concluded.
