Emotional Nancy Pelosi tells story how her grandson wished for ‘brown skin and eyes’ for his birthday

During her eight-hour circus act Wednesday on behalf of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi waxed eloquent about her six-year-old grandson’s desire to have “brown skin and brown eyes,” just like his Hispanic friend Antonio.

Because that would be way cooler than being just some white kid.

“I’m reminded of my own grandson,” said Pelosi. “He is Irish, English, whatever, whatever, and Italian-American, he is a mix. But he looks more the other [Italian] side of the family, shall we say. And when he had his sixth birthday… he had a very close friend whose name is Antonio, he’s from Guatemala. And he has beautiful tan skinned, beautiful brown eyes, and this was a proud day for me, because when my grandson blew out the candles on his cake, they said did you make a wish?

“He said yes, he made a wish. What is your wish? I wish I had brown skin and brown eyes like Antonio,” she continued, resisting the urge to break out in song. “So beautiful. So beautiful. The beauty is in the mix. The face of the future for our country is all-American. And that has many versions.”

Now there’s obviously nothing wrong with being Hispanic, or black, or even white for that matter, although that last part is up for debate if you’re anywhere left of center these days.

It’s OK to be proud of who you are, unless you’re white. These days, “whiteness” is something to be ashamed of, if you’re a liberal. They’ll make it seem as if it’s because white people are somehow responsible for pretty much all of the world’s evil, but in reality we know it’s just because a majority of whites won’t vote for them!

The new strategy? Why, bring in the people who will!

Needless to say, Pelosi’s ridiculous virtue-signalling drew plenty of well deserved mockery on Twitter:

But this comment from conservative firebrand Dinesh D’Souza calling Pelosi’s “brown-skin wannabe” grandson a “little weirdo” who needs therapy REALLY lit the internet on fire.

D’Souza’s brilliant retort, which drew well over 20,000 likes and over 8,000 comments, drew plenty of support.
