Mark Levin goes off over FISA controversy, claims Obama likely knew ‘Hillary paid for a warrant’

Former President Barack Obama has not been mentioned much in the discussions on the recently released House Intelligence Committee memo, but conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said the former president likely knew that “Hillary Clinton paid for a warrant.”

Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Levin laid out a reasonable explanation on why Obama should have been in the loop.

“Who are they trying to protect?” Levin asked of the Democrats and their media allies who fought so hard to prevent the release of the memo. “Hillary Clinton.”

“Who else are they trying to protect?” he continued. “Barack Obama.”

“His name never comes up, so let me help everybody with this,” Levin said, before rattling off the names of everyone who knew about the FISA warrants, to include former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Who else would have known about these FISA applications and warrants?” he asked.

Levin explained that the warrants are counter-intelligence efforts, saying “you would have to assume that the National Security Council and the White House knew.”

“Why would the FBI, the Justice Department keep that from the national security director [Susan Rice] in the White House?” Levin asked. “Why would it be left out of the president’s daily intelligence briefing?”

“We are looking at the FBI, we are looking at the Department of Justice, and we’re not looking at all — at all — at the White House?”

All excellent questions that are not being asked by anyone in the media.

Levin discusses the matter at length with host Sean Hannity below, blowing the lid off a scandal that’s beginning to make Watergate look like kindergarten hi-jinks.
