Those honored by the White House, and who are sitting in the First Lady’s box at the State of the Union, include: MS-13 victims Elizabeth Alvarado, Robert Mickens, Evelyn Rodriguez and Freddy Cuevas; special agent Celestino “CJ” Martinez; Cajun Navy rescuers Jon Bridgers, David Dahlberg; business owners Corey Adams, Steve Staub and Sandy Keplinger; wounded Officer Ryan Holets; American patriot Preston Sharp; Marine Corps. hero Corporal (Ret.) Matthew Bradford; Coast Guard rescuer Ashlee Leppert; and Army Staff Sgt.Justin Peck.

The First Lady, controversially, held a separate meet-and-greet before the State of the Union, which honored MS-13 gang victims, beneficiaries of the GOP tax cuts, and military heroes. She also sent tongues wagging by traveling to the State of the Union separately from the President.
