Democrats groan loudly at worst possible moment: Trump honors grieving parents whose children died…

At the State of the Union address, President Trump went out of his way to honor parents whose children were killed by MS-13 gang members.

The president honored the parents, whose unconscionable loss is beyond most of our understanding: Elizabeth Alvarado, Robert Mickens, Evelyn Rodriguez, and Freddy Cuevas. The parents loss their daughters to MS-13 gang members.

More than a dozen MS-13 gang members were arrested for the murders of 15-year-old Nisa Mickens and 16-year-old Kayla Cuevas in Long Island, N.Y. Their bodies were savagely beaten. ICE agents arrested dozens of MS-13 gang members in March.

Nonetheless, Democrats groaned loudly when the president talked about the parents’ tragic story. Listen (1:10):

“Most tragically, they have caused the loss of many innocent lives,” Trump said, which was followed by audible groans.

The president proceeded to tell the parents’ heartbreaking stories.

The Democrats’ callous reaction to the president’s story did not go unnoticed:

For a Democratic Party so concerned about optics they’d bring dozens of DREAMers to the State of the Union, it sure looks like when a heartbreaking story isn’t in their political favor, the compassion quickly goes out the window.
