Democrats have officially thrown off all pretense to civility.
Several California Democrats are planning to turn President Trump’s Tuesday night State of the Union address into an occasion for protest, bringing illegal aliens as guests and running impeachment ads during the speech.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) will be among the protesters, bringing along an illegal alien “Dreamer” to the event, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
By inviting Belize native Denea Joseph, Harris “seeks to raise awareness that black people are also among the undocumented population, not just Asians and Latinos.”
According to the Press Enterprise, illegal aliens will accompany three other California Democrats–Rep. Pete Aguilar, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, and Rep. Judy Chu.
President Trump’s decision to end the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program isn’t the only thing Democratic lawmakers will be opposing.
The Chronicle reports that Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) will go to the State of the Union address dressed in black–a color associated with the #MeToo movement against sexual abuse.
The choice of clothing apparently alludes to a series of sexual assault allegations against President Trump that arose in the last stretch of the 2016 election.
Meanwhile, Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA) will bring a transgender friend in order to voice disapproval of the president’s proposed ban on transgenders in the military.
Liberal billionaire Tom Steyer will run ads calling for President Trump’s impeachment, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The Steyer-approved ad will show potentially devastating acts the president could commit in 30 seconds, including launching a nuclear strike and deporting illegal immigrant children.
Democrats are taking their role as “opposition party” very seriously.
In stark contrast, the Trump family and Republican lawmakers will be bringing an impressive and meaningful guest list of their own. Police officers, small business owners, border agents, military heroes, and family members of victims of illegal alien crime will be there is support of the president and his agenda.
