Newsweek editor’s tweet about ‘sexual abuse of children’ leading to ‘great art’ goes downhill in a hurry

Newsweek Pakistan editor Fasih Ahmed captured the attention of the Western public with a tweet about “child sexual abuse” that attempts to see the ‘silver lining’ in pedophilia.

That’s a pretty dark silver lining. Ahmed was then completely radio’d by negative comments.

The conversation deteriorated from there, with Ahmed responding.

We know another “failed artist” whose warped ideology was disastrous for the world. Is Fasih Ahmed guilty of embracing another?

Newsweek has not yet made a public statement on Mr. Ahmed’s comments.
