For MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” crew, a clean bill of health for the president is just suspicious.

For nearly an hour on Tuesday, President Trump’s physician answered questions from the expected to the bizarre about the state of the president’s physical and mental health following a series of examinations. Admiral Dr. Ronny Jackson, the same doctor who treated former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, declared Trump to be in “excellent” health.

But for the liberal media, this could not possibly be true. CNN’s Jim Acosta bluntly asked the physician if he was intentionally withholding any information, preferably something that would satisfy the left’s appetite for removing Trump from office due to being somehow incapacitated.

“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski seemed simply despondent over the exam results, noting how Trump got a “perfect score” on the cognitive test which he requested himself.

“The fact that the president appears to be, according to the doctor, healthy worries me,” she said. “Because if he wasn’t healthy that would be a great excuse for this behavior. Now he has none. Which you can then deduce other things that are for more nefarious and frightening.”

Apparently Brzezinski was worried that the lack of anything proving medical conditions cause Trump’s behavior means “this is who he is.”

“I’m disturbed that they say he’s cognitively healthy. I think the word evil comes to mind,” she said.

“I’m not sure if it makes me feel better that this doctor says he has no cognitive issues. It makes me feel worse and more worried for the country,” Brzezinski went on in her somber tone.

She also noted discussions about Trump being overweight given his 6-feet-3-inch tall frame and weight 239 pounds. The numbers sparked the “Girther” movement on social media.

“Some of the numbers are hard to believe, but I will say Dr. Jackson has a great reputation,” co-host Willie Geist responded to Brzezinski’s remarks. “Some of those numbers did stop us in our tracks, but I take the doctor at his word.”

“Me too,” Brzezinski seemed to reluctantly agree.

“We won’t question the doctor,” Scarborough interjected, following the same line of liberal-think in which they concede the physician has a great reputation – after all, he was Obama’s doctor – but then question if he is telling the truth about Trump’s test results.

“I will say on his mental sharpness, if that is in fact the case, and medically, perhaps, that is,” Scarborough said of Trump.  “He has shocked and surprised a lot of people who have worked around him for the past several years who have been saying that he is not.”

Brzezinski agreed to “take the doctor at his word though in terms of the testing and stuff.”

“That is, actually truly frightening,” she added.  “It leaves the options as to what’s going on, in a very bad category.”
