Tuesday was NOT a good day to be a former Fox News anchor with a Twitter account who may or may not have inadvertently run afoul of some angry Turkish hackers.
Either that, or Greta Van Susteren and Eric Bolling have a whole other life we’re only just now finding out about…
It appears that pro Turkish President hackers have taken over Greta Van Susteren's Twitter account. pic.twitter.com/aLOSljf0yQ

No, it’s not an episode of “Homeland,” just a run of the mill hacking by Turks with way too much time on their hands.
Instead of the usual political stuff, the conservative former Fox News host started treating her 1.2 million followers to one pro-Turkey tweet after another on Tuesday, mixed in with a few Turkish rap videos and an “I love Turkey” message with a heart emoji.
Both Greta Van Susteren and Eric Bolling have been hacked

WOW: Something calling itself the “Turkish cyber army Ayyıldız Tim” has hacked the Twitter accounts of both Eric Bolling & Greta Van Susteren, claiming that they now have their DM correspondence and that they “will show you the power of the Turk!” So… that’s probably not good. pic.twitter.com/FLTrs2jRRN

Bolling’s account retweeted a Van Susteren hacked message that said, “We love the Turks and Muslims in the world. We condemn those who persecute them, especially in the United States, and we share their suffering . We love turkish soldiers , we love Erdoğan, we love Turkey.”
Here’s another, er, rough translation:
the pig plotters of the anti democratic coup will be SHOT in the STREETS like DOGS on this evening's run of For the Record With Greta Van Susteren, exclusive on NBC at 8 pm pic.twitter.com/2SI4CEU4vh

One of the tweets from Van Susteren’s account reads (in English): “You are hacked by the Turkish cyber army Ayyıldız Tim! We got your DM correspondence! We will show you your Turk’s power! (You are hacked by the Turkish cyber army Ayyıldız Tim! We will show you the power of the Turk!”
The “power of the Turk” was apparently as advertised. The account then tweeted a DM message from itself to none other than President Trump, who follows both accounts.
3. The connection Greta and Eric Bolling have in this case is they're both followed by @realDonaldTrump – the hackers are now sending direct messages to President Trump from Greta's account. pic.twitter.com/P5jPS1MPus

Not … at … all…
This doesn’t seem like a major national security risk AT ALL!

All’s well that ends well, for Van Susteren first, then Bolling, who both tweeted late Tuesday that they finally got their accounts back.
As many of you know, my twitter account was hacked…I think I have now handled the problem. What a waste of 3 hours to handle…but thank you @Twitter for helping me
