The “Morning Joe” crew make mocking them too easy.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham thrilled viewers Monday night with a scathing impersonation of MSBNC’s Mika Brzezinski, provoking laughter from Sean Hannity.

Hannity played a clip from the weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” cold open, which featured Kate McKinnon and Alex Moffat as Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough respectively.

In the skit, the “Morning Joe” co-hosts interviewed “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff and former White House strategist Steve Bannon–notably played by Bill Murray.

McKinnon’s Brezinski was air-headed and adulating of Scarborough. The parody portrayed a cringe-worthy sexual tension between the MSNBC hosts, who are engaged in real life.

Hannity called the SNL cold opening his “best ‘Video of the Day’ ever.”

Ingraham whipped out her impersonation of Brzezinski as Hannity led into her program, imitating the “Morning Joe” icon by waving her with dramatically and accusing the SNL skit of being “misogynistic.”

“First of all, I have to say about that SNL skit about Joe and Mika, I found that very misogynistic,” the “Ingraham Angle” host said in a mocking tone. “As if Mika is just going like this and Joe, please Joe. Oh, honestly.”

Hannity exclaimed he got his “second Mediaite headline tonight — that’s you being Mika!” He then asked Ingraham to perform her impersonation again, to which the fellow Fox host replied in-character.

“I don’t know, it’s’ like. Trump is so upsetting. It’s not funny. It’s NOT funny.”

Hannity joked, “I’m sending you to New York!”

The hosts of “Morning Joe” are regular detractors of President Trump. Scarborough has made the repeated claim that the president suffers from dementia.

It’s hard not to poke fun at the MSNBC duo when they give conservatives so much ammunition.
