A newlywed couple from the Chicago suburbs is going to have one heck of a story to tell their future children.
Brianna and Timothy Dargert of Orland Park mailed an invitation to President Trump and first lady Melania before their wedding in May 2017.
The Trump supporters never expected the president to show, and didn’t even count on receiving a reply. So, when a letter from the White House arrived a few months later, the couple was ecstatic.
“We both admire the President greatly,” the couple wrote in an email to Fox 32 News, ” and to receive something from him personally completely touched our hearts. It is wonderful to see that he truly cares about the American people!”
The Trumps’ reply came with a thoughtful note wishing the Dargert’s all the best.
“We join your family and friends in celebrating this joyous occasion and your love and commitment to one another. May your hearts grow fonder and your love deeper each day, and may God continue to bless your life together.”
No doubt, that will become a valuable family heirloom worthy of a beautiful frame. President Trump would probably prefer gold.
