White House press secretary Sarah Sanders doesn’t need to do much to get the left’s dander up. It could be something as simple as making a humorous observation that involves Batman.
Sanders directed a tweet at Amazon Sunday, calling out the e-
“Alexa, we have a problem if my 2-year-old can order a Batman toy by yelling ‘Batman!’ over and over again into the Echo,” she tweeted.

That Sanders did this using her official White House social media account left critics highly irked.
Taking to Twitter, they bemoaned how this was a gross ethics violation and that she is misusing her official Twitter handle.
Seriously.

Another WH ETHICS VIOLATION: Under 5 cfr 2635.702 et seq., @pressec can't use public resources (here her official Twitter account) to benefit or harm a private business. I am sure it is just a coincidence that it is one owned by her boss's arch-enemy Bezos. cc: @OfficeGovEthics https://t.co/FFFC2fCa3R

Glad to see our government officials make appropriate use of their official government Twitter accounts. Alexa, record this misuse of government resources. https://t.co/VmMVLMwwFf

Not sure you understand the purpose of the official @PressSec twitter handle.

Alexa, can you track @PressSec inappropriate use of an official Twitter account? Thanks.

Much like we saw during “Pie-gate,” some social media users insisted that Sanders was lying about the whole thing:
A. Why the hell are you lying about this?
B. Why the hell are you using a government account to complain about Amazon? https://t.co/dGVd3ORLvm

And make no mistake about it, Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferers will seize on ANY opportunity to spew their unadulterated hatred:
America, we have a problem if a man with the mentality of a 2 year old can destroy democracy by yelling "Fake news!" over and over again into the twittersphere & malignant sycophants like @PressSec repeat his lies & propaganda relentlessly to rile up his braindead cult base. https://t.co/X4TYcHi2Wd

Aside from the fact that you're using WH official account to disparage a private company is not nearly as troubling as the fact that you procreated. My condolences to your 2 yr old. https://t.co/oF99C3oZK6

Taking their angst to another level, these folks even complained about Sanders using Echo in her home, which can be tapped and made into an “always listening” device.
Who knew that Sanders discussed highly sensitive state secrets at home with her toddlers?

The problem with #Alexa is the choice to bring an always-on listening #IoT device, with the power to make purchases for us, into our homes.
Why are you keeping your #Echo, @PressSec?
The best choice seems for parents not to buy these devices in the first place. https://t.co/Hm5XKtjLmb— Jonathan Cook (@JonathanCCook) January 15, 2018
