Barack Obama made some classless remarks about Fox News that Hannity & Gingrich won’t let slide

Liberals are upset that President Trump repeatedly criticizes the establishment media, because apparently only Democratic presidents are allowed to do that.

During his Friday program, Fox News host Sean Hannity highlighted the blatant hypocrisy by playing a montage of clips that showed former President Barack Obama repeatedly criticizing Fox News, starting with a post-presidential clip of Obama on the Netflix series “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.”

“What the Russians exploited but it was already here is we are operating in completely different information universes,” Obama said. “If you watch Fox News, you are living on a different planet than you are if you, you know, listen to NPR.”

After numerous clips played, all of which showed Obama’s obsession with Fox News, Hannity had former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on, who noted the “fantasy world” Obama lives in.

“I listened to it and I thought to myself. This guy is so whacked,” Gingrich said. “Today, he still doesn’t get it. He’ll never get it.”

“Look, many, many years from now in a nursing home, or a nice retirement community, Barack Obama will be still living in a fantasy life,” the former House speaker continued. “He’ll think that Iran really wanted to have a deal, he’ll think that high taxes really work, he’ll think that welfare’s a good deal. I mean, what you just put together is as I think funny a statement of who Barack Obama is as I’ve ever seen. It captures the sense of being out of touch with reality.”

Hannity acknowledged the fact that people do live in “different information universes.”

“He’s right. The mainstream media, they want to destroy Trump and they loved him [Obama],” the Fox News host said. “It’s that simple.”
