Not everyone was buying what Oprah Winfrey was selling at Hollywood’s Golden Globes Awards.

The left went wild when Winfrey took the stage on Sunday to accept the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille award, and delivered a politically charged speech about sexual harassment and gender inequality.
Her rousing words brought tears to liberal eyes (not hard to do) and had fellow celebs and the mainstream media cheering “Oprah for President, 2020!” over the following days.
But as leftists fantasized about the talk show queen inhabiting the Oval Office, those grounded in reality saw the media mogul’s lecture from a different perspective.
British singer/songwriter known as SEAL was one of them.
The superstar used his social media platform to deliver a devastating blow to the picture liberals were painting of Oprah as an unwavering champion of women.
Beneath real pictures of Oprah being chummy with serial sexual harraser Harvey Weinstein, SEAL wrote on his Instagram page: “Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad.”
He included the brutal hashtag: #SanctimoniousHollywood. And added that Winfrey had “been part of the problem for decades.”
It was a bold move by SEAL who no doubt has many “friends” in the liberal Hollywood crowd. Considering he posted the pictures three days after the Golden Globes suggests he had plenty of time to think about what he was doing, and made the move despite repercussions from peers.
Speaking of which…
Model and outspoken uber-leftist Chrissy Teigen was quick to chime in, and dropped a threatening comment on SEAL’s Instagram in response to his Oprah diss.
Because, how dare he stray from the liberal Hollywood pack.

“Hmm. Let’s just say we’ve all heard things about each other, haven’t we?” Teigen responded, according to Hollywood Life.
Plenty of SEAL fans made sure to show him support and pushed back at Teigen.
One user wrote:
Oh Chrissy. Go put some clothes on. Oprah is a hypocrite. You’re a hypocrite. Most of Hollywood is, too. Most knew and did nothing, and are still doing nothing but wearing black and pins, and giving speeches.
The pictures SEAL blasted were also used in a devastating meme that circulated Twitter after Oprah used her speech to condemn “brutally powerful men.”
Meanwhile, the left remains hopeful that Winfrey will be the one to beat Donald Trump in a 2020 election.
Without throwing salacious insults, actor Seth MacFarlane tried to put that future prospect into sobering perspective.
Oprah is beyond doubt a magnificent orator. But the idea of a reality show star running against a talk show host is troublingly dystopian. We don’t want to create a world where dedicated public service careers become undesirable and impractical in the face of raw celebrity.
