Tucker Carlson reveals truth about DNC deputy chair Ellison’s views: Democrats should be ‘terrified’

You can always count on Tucker Carlson to blow the lid off the left’s agenda of hate.

The Fox News host provided viewers with a look at the controversial political background of Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), who serves as deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee.

Carlson’s segment on Ellison was prompted by a Wednesday tweet in which Ellison pictured himself with a copy of Mark Bray’s “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.”

The DNC official described Bray’s work as “the book that strike fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump.”

The group known as Antifa has been condemned for its violent tactics against conservatives. As Carlson noted, Bray advocates for the use of violence against political adversaries.

Carlson quoted from Bray’s book as reading that violence is “a small though vital sliver of anti-fascist activity.”

The Daily Caller founder brought attention to another section of the book, in which Bray approvingly quoted an Antifa activist as saying:

“You fight them with fists so you don’t have to fight them with knives. You fight them with knives so you don’t have to fight them with guns. You fight them with guns so you don’t have to fight them with tanks.”

Carlson then related the Democratic leader’s history of “backing extremist causes.”

The Fox News personality quoted Ellison’s remarks on the US Constitution, which included calling the document “the best evidence of a white racist conspiracy to subjugate other peoples.”

Carlson noted that Ellison has praised Assata Shakur, a former member of the Black Liberation Army wanted in the US for the murder of a New Jersey State Trooper.

According to Carlson, Ellison wrote a column calling for the creation of a black ethno-state when he was a law student.

The host concluded, “this is the man who is second-in-command of the entire Democratic party. Now that ought to bother Republicans and Independents. It should terrify Democrats.”

Carlson continued:

“Most voters don’t support cop-killing racial separatism, political violence, abolishing freedom of speech, and they tend to flee from politicians and parties that do support those things.”

He then asked, “what would happen if Democrats actually did win and got power back in November? Suddenly, Ellison’s views would matter a lot. He and people like him would have real control over your life. Are you ready for that?”
