Sheriff David Clarke locked out of Twitter for posting ‘violent tweets’ about ‘lying lib media’

Liberals are all for freedom of speech–unless it’s conservative speech.

The popular Trump supporter and Fox News regular lashed out at the media for alleging he was under FBI investigation.

The controversy began last week when the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on a March 2017 search warrant for Clarke’s emails.

The warrant request was in relation to an incident from January of last year in which Dan Black, an airline passenger, accused the Sheriff of abusively detaining him.

Clarke said he detained the man due to concern for his safety. By May, a federal prosecutor told Black’s attorney he saw no basis for a criminal civil rights violation charge.

The former lawman blasted misreporting that failed to note the warrant request was made back in March and had only been reported on until December.

In one tweet, Clarke called the liberal media “scum bags” and said he will “punch back.”

In another, Clarke promised “lefties” he would “smack around until you crawl back to your mom’s basement.”

Other aggressive tweets by the former Sheriff, who now works at the pro-Trump America First Action SuperPAC:

Users submitted complaints against Clarke’s tweets. Initially, Twitter determined the conservative did not violate the site’s rules.

“I know I’m winning,” Clarke wrote Saturday night. “Some snowflake lib made a complaint to Twitter because of my earlier tweet about black kids being exploited by lefty failed policies at Ballou High School. I said in my tweet, this CRAP is criminal. Twitter said no violation of rules. Diaper change time.”

By Monday, Twitter reversed its decision and Clarke’s account was locked in a “read-only” mode until certain tweets were deleted, CNN reports.

By Tuesday, Clarke had removed the requested tweets and his account was once again active.

As always, the left is all-too happy to use censorship to suppress opposing views.
