Insider gets a look at Mueller’s grand jury, says it looks like a ‘Black Lives Matter rally’

So much for a fair shake.

In a system already notoriously suspect, especially given the fact that the federal “justice” system enjoys a 93 plus percent conviction rate, higher than any “revolutionary tribunal” ever managed to accomplish under the old Soviet system in Russia, many on the right are cynical about President Trump’s chances to somehow avoid Robert Mueller’s crosshairs, even if the “crime” is completely manufactured.

And those cynics just got a lot more ammo in the form of a witness who recently testified before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s federal grand jury and told Page Six about its – shall we say – characteristics.

“The grand jury room looks like a Bernie Sanders rally,” the source told Page Six’s Richard Johnson. “Maybe they found these jurors in central casting, or at a Black Lives Matter rally in Berkeley [Calif.]”

Johnson writes:

Of the 20 jurors, 11 are African-Americans and two were wearing “peace T-shirts,” the witness said. “There was only one white male in the room, and he was a prosecutor.” Mueller was not present.

In other words, although Trump did win a larger percentage of the African-American vote than Mitt Romney did four years before, it’s not exactly a demographic that votes Republican.

And what about “looking like America” anyway? Are we allowed to ask that if the tables are turned?

Sol Wachtler, the former chief judge in New York, once called for abolishing grand juries because they are so easily manipulated that they would “indict a ham sandwich.”

My source said, “That room isn’t a room where POTUS gets a fair shake.”

“Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime,” said Lavrentiy Beria, head of Stalin’s secret police. It looks like Mueller is making sure a rubber stamp goes on whatever “crime” he manages to dig up.

For his part, President Trump is choosing to remain optimistic, telling the New York Times, “I have absolute right to do what I want to do with the Justice Department. But for purposes of hopefully thinking I’m going to be treated fairly, I’ve stayed uninvolved with this particular matter.”
