Melania Trump is writing her own fashion rules as the most glamorous first lady in U.S. history.
Fashion observers say Melania is doing for sleeves what Michelle Obama did for the sleeveless trend.
“If there has been a single defining characteristic of Melania Trump’s public profile over the past year, it has been her relationship with sleeves,” the Washington Post’s observed. “Trump’s sleeves are the mark of a fashion aesthete who is willing to cast aside practicality in favor of line, silhouette and proportion.”
During the Trumps’ widely praised Asia tour, Melania wowed South Korean fans in Seoul by wearing a purple coat dress with puffy sleeves that paid homage to the traditional Korean hanbok.
In July 2017, Melania charmed the French in a striking red Christian Dior outfit that accentuated her sleek supermodel physique.
Trump’s dignified, demure style is a contrast from the athletic, tomboyish fashions of former first lady Michelle Obama, who often flaunted her muscular guns.
One thing both Michelle and Melania have in common is their dedication to fitness and exercise. While Michelle said she likes to lift weights and do yoga, Melania prefers Pilates workouts and tennis, as BizPac Review previously reported.
No matter what the occasion, one thing is certain: Mrs. Trump turns heads in everything she wears.
The former model knows what flatters her leggy 5-foot-11 figure and always comes dressed to impress.
