Guest stuns with suggestion FBI Dep Director may have plotted to assassinate Trump, but didn’t stop there …

Fox News hosts found themselves trying to run interference for a guest who appeared to suggest that the deputy director of the FBI plotted an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump.

Appearing on Tuesday’s “Outnumbered,” Fox News contributor Kevin Jackson reacted to reports that Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley is calling for the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe amid conflict of interest allegations.

“I think they will say, what was his intent, right? That is exactly what former FBI Director James Comey said when he was letting Hillary Clinton off the hook,” Jackson said, referring to Grassley’s call for the committee to determine if McCabe was referenced in one of the text messages sent by FBI agent Peter Strzok who was removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia  investigation following the discovery of biased text messages.

“And his intent, whether it was an assassination attempt or whether, definitely something —” Jackson went on, as host Harris Faulkner could be heard saying, “Whoa!”

“I am just saying, we do not know what it was. When you say, ‘we gotta make sure this guy doesn’t get in at all costs’ — what does that mean? I am saying, there is a spectrum of what does it mean, but one thing we know for sure, is that he was plotting in an election against a candidate, and there is FBI fingerprints all over this,” Jackson said.

His apparent deep state conspiracy idea sent the “Outnumbered” hosts into a scramble.

“All right, because I know how things get clipped on social media,” Faulkner jumped in. “I just want to make sure that we press in on the fact that no one has floated any sort of an idea that it was –”

“Oh, it’s been floated,” Jackson insisted. “When I talk about this, I’m talking about social media stuff and, y’know, that’s out there. I’m not talking about media sources.”

Another co-host attempted to help out, noting there was “nothing credible” leading to the allegation.

“Well,” Jackson replied, shrugging. “I mean, yeah.”

The show’s hosts then tried to steer away from the hot topic, but the #OneLuckyGuy was not done.

Jackson’s take on an upcoming meeting between Trump’s attorneys and Mueller shocked the “Outnumbered” hosts further as he said that he believed “Mueller is going to ask for a pardon.”
