Odd how tell-tale signs are always there… and often looked past.
Amid reports that NBC paid off a “high profile” accuser who filed a sexual harassment complaint on Chris Matthews, video clips capturing creepy behavior from the MSNBC anchor are making the rounds.
In one, Matthews was caught on a hot mic ogling Melania Trump at a 2016 campaign event.
“Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God, is that good,” he said, as he leered at the wife of now-President Donald Trump. “I could watch that runway show.”
Matthews was more brazen in fawning over CNBC’s Erin Burnett back in August 2007.
“Get a little closer to the camera,” he told a surprised Burnett, who didn’t know what to make of the cad’s behavior.
“Just kidding! You look great!” Matthews then said. “Anyway, thanks, Erin, it’s great to — look at that look. You’re great.”
Burnett remarked about being “in a strange location,” and the MSNBC host continued to gush over his guest.
“No, you’re beautiful. I’m just kidding. I’m just kidding,” he said. “You’re a knockout. Anyway, thank you, Erin Burnett.
