Chicken alfredo and Sprite for sex with a minor?
An attractive offer to be sure, but the undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old boy chose to take a hard pass, instead arresting 22-year-old Youngstown State University student Albert Maruna and charging him with “attempted unlawful sexual contact with a minor, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, possessing criminal tools, and importuning,” according to Cleveland 19 News.
According to Austintown police, Maruna allegedly used an online dating app to conduct sexually graphic conversations with an undercover officer posing as an interested 15-year-old, sending nude pictures of himself and even setting up a meeting.
Police say the meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, and Maruna had allegedly promised to bring lubricant, chicken Alfredo, and Sprite.
Maruna was arrested after he traveled to Austintown to meet the teenager.
Police say he was carrying a MAC book, an iPhone, three zip drives, Vaseline lotion, a bottle of Astroglide lubrication, two Sprite bottles, and even chicken Alfredo in a Tupperware dish.
Busted and caught red-handed, but hey, at least he kept his promise!
Maruna currently resides in the Mahoning County jail.
