President Trump just triggered a mass meltdown in the media after holding out the possibility that he could pardon Michael Flynn.
On Friday morning, the President told the press he won’t rule out the possibility of pardoning former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, who pleaded guilty earlier this month to lying to the FBI about his conversation with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyak.
IN ‘TATTERS’? On his way to visit the FBI national training academy, President Trump said Americans are “very, very angry” at the agency for revelations of political bias against him within its ranks; he also told @JonKarl he’s not ready to discuss a pardon for Michael Flynn. pic.twitter.com/JVfmRtSYfw

“I don’t want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet,” President Trump responded to a question on the matter. “We’ll see what happens. Let’s see.”
While President Trump neither confirmed nor denied that a pardon is in the works, liberals immediately exploded with accusations of “illegality” and “obstruction of justice.”
Activist Amy Siskind sternly warned her followers that “We are in dangerous territory folks.”
Judd Legum, editor of Think Progress, speculated that the President will offer a pardon if Flynn “protects” him and his family.
Left-wing immigration lawyer David Leopold fumed at the news, saying it shows President Trump is a “clear & present danger” to America.
Many other liberals jumped to add their voices to the mix.

Trump will have been arrested or will have fled to Russia before he gets the chance to pardon anyone.

That is obstruction of justice, plain and simple.

@realDonaldTrump Thou doth protest too much! If you’re so innocent, let’s see your tax returns which should quickly clear up any questions. You won’t do it because you have lots to hide. You are evil beyond imagination!

Thus signaling to Flynn that if he doesn’t sing, a pardon will be his reward. Therefore impacting Special Counsel Mueller’s leverage over him. Pretty transparent.

Yeah, @realDonaldTrump @GOP @SpeakerRyan we are very angry, at this emerging fascist regime. You sold us out to Russia. This will be your legacy. Ruining our country for a business deal in Moscow. SAD!

The American Oligarch is a fraud, undermining the people’s faith in their gov’t with subversive speech, accusations and innuendo to save himself. It is very clear this president is guilty of sedition and committing treason in real time. Must be removed for good of the republic

If Congress allows Trump to fire Mueller without any warning of impeachment, Putin will be the President of the United States of America. Trump will be Putin’s ambassador for the next 8 years. Believe me.

Meanwhile, conservatives were enthusiastic at the possibility that Flynn, a popular Trump surrogate during the 2016 presidential race, might be pardoned.

After the Muller inquest is exposed for what it is, why not? A good man and his family ruined for partisan political purposes.
