Palestinian leaders called for three days of rage Friday after President Donald Trump’s Wednesday decision to recognize Israel as the capital of Jerusalem.
Palestinian protestors clashed with Israeli soldiers, are expected to continue rioting throughout the country and the West Bank periodically to protest the decision. An Israeli military spokesman confirmed to local media that soldiers were out in force in riot gear and using tear gas to disperse demonstrators.
One demonstrator was reportedly killed, though circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear.
