Over the summer, Ta-Ta Towels became an instant internet sensation by providing well-endowed women with a way to keep their breasts dry from underboob sweat.

Now Ta-Ta Towels is shaking things up even more with a new line of products made just for Christmas.

The holiday lineup consists of four creative designs:

Candy Cane Lane, which brings to mind the North Pole.

And the two colors can be combined.

And finally, the provocative Not So Silent Night.

Not wanting to exclude people who don’t celebrate Christmas, Ta-Ta Towels also rolled out a Hanukkah pattern.

The towels are made of terry cloth and are all reversible. They sit around the neck like a halter top.

Ta-Ta Towels are the creation of Los Angeles-based entrepreneur Erin Robertson, who said she came up with the idea after sweating profusely before a date.

“I was living in Los Angeles and getting ready to go out on a first date,” she wrote on her website. “As I got out of the shower and started getting ready, I could not stop sweating — not because I was about to go on a first date, but because my tiny A/C unit was broken AND it was the beginning of summer.

“I had a lot working against me. I tried everything: I tucked wash cloths under my breasts, I tried dumping baby powder all over me, I even put a t-shirt on and tucked it under my boobs. But the wash cloths looked ridiculous, the baby powder made me look more like dough, and the t-shirt was making me sweat even more.

While I was blow-drying my hair, I just kept thinking: ‘There HAS to be a better way to keep the beads of sweat from dripping down my stomach.’ Sound familiar?”

After teaching herself how to sew and then running prototypes by her friends, Robertson unveiled Ta-Ta Towels in August, marketing her product as an effective way of dealing with sweaty breasts at home, the gym, and anywhere.

Robertson also says Ta-Ta Towels are ideal for lactating women.

“Pregnant and/or breastfeeding mothers are loving the Ta-Ta Towel, too! ‘It’s a boob saver.’ ‘Ta-Ta Towel to the rescue.’ The ultra-soft rayon liner was made with sensitive nipples in mind and also absorbs any breast milk that might leak out during feeding.”

One thing is for certain: When it comes to originality, few gifts will beat the Ta-Ta Towel.
