Trump was wise to stay away from Kennedy Center gala, host to these high profile sex predators

Liberals cheered when they learned President Trump wouldn’t be attending this year’s Kennedy Center Honors. But they won’t be smiling for long now that Americans are seeing who did go.

The annual award ceremony at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts attracts the biggest names in the liberal entertainment community …

The stars were disgruntled at the thought of mingling with President Trump this year at the traditional White House reception prior to the performance gala, with several of the honorees vowing to boycott. As a courtesy, the president canceled the event.

But here’s who has gone in the past. It turns out the Kennedy Center has hosted some of the most high-profile predators in the entertainment industry to be ousted in recent months, including the likes of:

The comedian-turned Senator, who’s currently embroiled in allegations of groping and sexual harassment, was just at the Kennedy Center in October of this year when late-night host David Letterman received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Charlie Roses’s firing for sexual harassment and sex discrimination shocked America. But Rose was no stranger to the illustrious Kennedy Center Honors. He attended the ceremony back in 2013–when he was still a member of the media elite.

The renowned actor’s fall from the grace was one of the swiftest (and most surprising) casualties of the sex scandal storm.

Spacey made a stop by the Kennedy Center Honors last year–back when he was still part of the “in-crowd,”. He even sat by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., as pictured above.

Considering the ill-reputed names that have made appearances at past ceremonies, President Trump likely made the right move to protect the honor of the office he holds.
