ABC News is going to be in a ton of trouble if Americans follow the advice of President Donald Trump.
A day after ABC News suspended reporter Brian Ross for a month due to his shoddy reporting to the plea agreement of former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn, President Trump is calling on Americans affected by the news to sue.
“People who lost money when the Stock Market went down 350 points based on the False and Dishonest reporting of Brian Ross of @ABC News (he has been suspended), should consider hiring a lawyer and suing ABC for the damages this bad reporting has caused – many millions of dollars!” he tweeted on Sunday.

Ross erroneously reported that the president ordered Flynn to make contact with the Russians while he was still a candidate for president.
“The View’s” Joy Behar cheered and celebrated the news on live television yelling “lock him up” to the cheers of her partisan audience.
If correct, the news would indicate that there was collusion between the campaign and Russians and it could possibly lead to impeachment. It caused the stock market to take a major dip of more than 300 points.
But he was not correct.
According to Flynn the president asked him to contact the Russians after he was elected, but before he was sworn in as president, to discuss fighting the Islamic State in Syria.
ABC News has since apologized and expressed its regret, admitting that the story had not been properly vetted, but the apology is not enough for many.
And many on social media think the idea of suing ABC News is fantastic.
I am loving this, it’s only the peoples President that can do this, we are used to the press having their way and dealing with us, today, the POTUS s dealing with them. Time to start suing ABC https://t.co/FISKmER5PI
