Video of Katie Couric revealing Matt Lauer ‘pinches me on the a**, a lot’ is creeping people out

In the wake of NBC firing Matt Lauer, plenty of digging has been going on into the longtime “Today” show host’s past.

One particular video from 2012 has surfaced featuring an interview with journalist Katie Couric, who co-hosted the morning show with Lauer for more than a decade.

“What is Matt’s most annoying habit?” Andy Cohen asked Couric in the interview on his show “Watch What Happens Live.”

“He pinches me on the ass a lot,” Couric replied, not missing a beat.

In a game of “shag, marry, and kill” that also occurred during that interview, Couric revealed she would “shag” Bryant Gumbel, her former “Today” cohost, she would “marry” Lauer, and would “kill” former CBS News anchor, Dan Rather.

Couric and Lauer reunited on the air at the beginning of the year, sitting behind the “Today” show anchor desk together for the first time in a decade.

Couric probably had no idea that her attempt at humor in 2012 would come back years later as Lauer was fired by NBC for alleged “inappropriate sexual behavior.”

Twitter users found plenty wrong with Couric’s revelation.
