“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski unloaded on White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Tuesday’s show… for doing her job as President Donald Trump’s spokesperson.

“What’s wrong with her? Why does she do that job? How can she look in the mirror every day and say, ‘I am doing the right thing for the American people?’ Because you are not — you are not,” Brzezinski said.

This coming from the woman who “quietly” divorced her husband of 23 years, before becoming engaged with co-host Joe Scarborough.

What upset Scarborough’s bride-to-be was Sanders’ response to her boss referring to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., as “Pocahontas” at a ceremony on Monday honoring Navajo code talkers.

When asked why Trump would say something so “offensive to many people,” Sanders fired back, “I think what most people find offensive is Senator Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career.”

Brzezinski was disappointed that Sanders didn’t admit fault by saying the president “misspoke.”

“That is unbelievable,” the MSNBC host declared. “This is our president and that is the spokesperson for the president of the United States sitting there defending his racism, his bigoted language, his stupidity. This is where we are.”

Of course, that’s Brzezinski’s liberal interpretation of events. Unfortunately, she does not show the same indignation over Warren faking her heritage as a Native American.

Brzezinski, who had two daughters with the husband she jettisoned, made note of the fact that Sanders is a mother while saying she swore an oath of loyalty to the man she is paid to represent.

…a job Sanders does effectively, hence the bulls-eye placed on her back by Trump’s critics.

“It’s sick, the whole thing is sick, the whole relationship is sick,” Brzezinski said. “She’s taken the oath. I don’t know how you do it. You are raising three children. Stop.”
